Drug Discovery: Risk sharing

Experience the confidence and security of outsourcing your drug discovery project to>AsisChem's team of talented and experienced pharmaceutical chemists. AsisChem's successful experience with dozens of projects means your project will start fast and move with confidence towards a qualified pre-clinical candidate.

  • Accurate initial project evaluation by experienced pharmaceutical chemists
  • Development of a realistic and working project schedule based on comprehensive, successful experience with similar projects
  • A specific plan of action leading to a qualified pre-clinical candidate
  • Thorough consideration and evaluation of alternative scaffolds and diverse structures
  • Iterative optimization leading to a strong pre-clinical candidate
  • Reduction and distribution of project risk

Four-Step Process

Our four-step process begins with a thorough evaluation of your specific project goals and a focused analysis of available data. This enables us to develop a working timeline and key events schedule for the project, and to select the best initial compounds and scaffolds.

The subsequent hit validation phase includes a thorough study of selected hit scaffolds and potential alternatives.

In the hit-to-lead chemistry phase, we use a systematic and iterative process to discover higher potency lead compounds with the desired compound properties.

The best one or two of these compounds enter our intensive lead optimization process of maximizing key drug-like properties, taking into account all SAR knowledge obtained as well as in vivo efficacy and safety data.

The ultimate outcome of the process is the identification and selection of a strong pre-clinical candidate and one or more back-ups, along with sufficient data and knowledge to continue on to IND-enabling pre-clinical studies and technology transfer for process development.

Our pricing and project agreement reflect our own confidence in our process since when we align our milestones with your milestones, your project risk is shared and reduced.
