Professor Mikhail Kuznetsov, Ph.D. Joins AsisChem, Inc. as Director of Chemistry
Cambridge, MA - June 6, 2005 - AsisChem, Inc, a Cambridge based contract research organization specializing in custom chemistry services for drug discovery, today announced that Professor Mikhail Kuznetsov, Ph.D. joined the management team as the Director of Chemistry on June 1, 2005. In his new role Professor Kuznetsov will manage all custom chemistry research projects and help build AsisChem's catalog of products.
Professor Kuznetsov has over thirty five years experience in synthetic organic chemistry. He authored and co-authored over one hundred scientific publications including 5 books and 6 reviews and is a highly regarded expert in the field of chemistry of heterocyclic compounds. He was a visiting professor at several European Universities including Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Hamburg University, Georg-August-University, Göttingen, and Innsbruck University. Professor Kuznetsov received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from St. Petersburg State University, Russia.
